Procedures

Choose Elite Hospital for your eye care needs, where advanced technology meets compassionate care. The advanced procedures available at Elite:

Air Puff Tonometer

A non-invasive test used to measure intraocular pressure (IOP), helping in the early detection of glaucoma by releasing a small burst of air to assess eye pressure.

Auto Refractometer

An automated device that measures refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism by analyzing how light is focused on the retina.

Optical A Scan / Optical Biometry

This ultrasound-based tool measures the eye's axial length, commonly used in cataract surgery to determine the power of intraocular lenses.

Pentachem

A comprehensive diagnostic tool that provides a 3D scan of the cornea, anterior chamber, and lens, aiding in the diagnosis of conditions like keratoconus.

Corneal Topography

A detailed mapping technique that analyzes the surface curvature of the cornea, helping to detect abnormalities such as astigmatism and keratoconus.

OCT Angiography

Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography is a non-invasive imaging technique that visualizes the blood vessels in the retina and optic nerve without using dye.

OCT Glaucoma

A specialized OCT scan to assess the optic nerve and retinal nerve fiber layer, crucial for the early diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma.

OCT Retina

An imaging technique that provides detailed cross-sectional views of the retina, helping to diagnose conditions like macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment.

OCT Anterior Segment

A non-invasive scan of the front part of the eye, including the cornea, iris, and anterior chamber, used to evaluate conditions like angle-closure glaucoma.

Perimetry / HFA (Humphrey Field Analyser)

A test that maps the visual field of the patient, helping detect peripheral vision loss, often associated with glaucoma.

YAG CAP

A laser procedure used to treat posterior capsule opacification, a common complication after cataract surgery that causes clouding of vision.

YAG PI (Peripheral Iridotomy)

A laser treatment that creates a small hole in the iris to relieve intraocular pressure in angle-closure glaucoma.

All Types of Anti VGEF Injection

Injections that block vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), used to treat eye conditions like age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy by preventing abnormal blood vessel growth.

PRP Laser for Diabetes

Panretinal photocoagulation (PRP) is a laser treatment used to prevent vision loss in patients with diabetic retinopathy by reducing abnormal blood vessel growth in the retina.

Lacrimal Syringing

A procedure to clear blockages in the tear drainage system by flushing saline through the tear ducts, often performed to treat watery eyes.

Foreign Body Removal

A procedure to safely extract foreign objects from the eye, such as dust, metal, or other particles, to prevent infection or injury.

Schirmers Test

A diagnostic test used to measure tear production in the eyes, helping to diagnose conditions like dry eye syndrome.

Chalazion Removal

A minor surgical procedure to remove a chalazion, a small lump in the eyelid caused by a blocked oil gland.

FFA / ICG (Fundus Flurescein Angiography)

A diagnostic test where a fluorescent dye is injected into the bloodstream to highlight the blood vessels in the retina, used to diagnose retinal disorders.

Corneal Pachymetry

A non-invasive procedure that measures the thickness of the cornea, crucial for assessing risks in glaucoma patients and planning refractive surgeries.
