  • What are your hospital’s hours of operation?

    We are open Monday through Saturday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Except Wednesday), Wednesday: 9.00 am to 12.00 am. We are open on Sundays (Only by Appointment morning 7.00 am to 11.00 am).

Treatments and Procedures

  • What is LASIK and am I a good candidate for it?

    LASIK is a laser eye surgery that corrects vision problems such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. Good candidates are typically over 18, have stable vision for at least a year, and have healthy eyes. A comprehensive evaluation with our specialists can determine your suitability.

    All Lasik Treatments at Elite Eye Hospital and Laser Centre are done with Contura, Bladeless Lasik. We choose the best customised treatment for individuals based on patient needs.

  • What should I expect during cataract surgery?

    Cataract surgery involves removing the clouded lens of the eye and replacing it with an artificial lens. The procedure is typically quick, taking about 15-30 minutes, and is performed under topical anaesthesia. Recovery time is usually short, with most patients resuming normal activities within a few days.

    All cataract surgeries at Elite Eye Hospital and Laser Centre are done with MICS (Micro Incision Cataract Surgery) with Phacoemulsification.

  • How is glaucoma treated?

    Treatment for glaucoma can include prescription eye drops, oral medications, laser treatment, or surgery, depending on the severity and type of glaucoma. Our specialists will determine the best treatment plan for your specific condition.

  • Do you accept my insurance?

  • How do I handle insurance claims?

    Our supportive staff will assist you with the documents required from our end for insurance claims.

  • What payment options are available if I don’t have insurance?

    We offer various payment options including cash, UPI, cheque, credit/debit cards.

  • What measures do you take to ensure patient comfort?

    Our hospital is designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment. Our staff is trained to offer compassionate care, and we use the latest technology to ensure treatments are as quick and painless as possible.

  • Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

    Yes, we encourage patients to bring a family member or friend always along with them, for consultation as well as surgical procedures. They provide support and help if the patient is dilated and also in post-treatment care.

  • How can I prepare for my eye examination?

    Please bring your current glasses or contact lenses, a list of any medications you are taking, and any previous eye health records. If you wear contact lenses, try to wear your glasses for at least 3 days before your appointment to ensure accurate testing and 7 days prior to Lasik Surgery.
